Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the content, resource library and newsletter services (the "Service") provided by OpenEnergy Co., Ltd. (the "Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "User" means a person who accesses the Service to read content or download a resource.
  • "Subscriber" means a User who has registered an email address and consented to receive the newsletter.

Article 3 (Provision of the Service)

  • The Company provides columns, resources, data and a glossary relating to renewable energy, RE100, CBAM and ESG.
  • The Company may change or discontinue part of the content where this is necessary to operate the Service.

Article 4 (Intellectual property)

Copyright in all content of the Service (text, images and design) belongs to the Company or to the original author. Reproduction, distribution or transmission without permission is prohibited. If you quote from it, you must state the source.

Article 5 (User obligations)

  • Users must not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • Bulk downloading and crawling using automated tools are prohibited.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company works to keep its content accurate and complete, but accepts no legal responsibility for the outcome of decisions made on the basis of that content. For important decisions, please confirm the position with official sources and professional advice.

Article 7 (Changes to these terms)

The Company may change these terms where necessary. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.

Articles 8 to 20 (Paid services) — Korean only

Articles 8 to 20 of the Korean text govern the Company's paid services. They are not reproduced here. Those services are sold only in Korea, only to sites that take high-voltage supply from KEPCO, and the contract is made on the Korean text. An English rendering of them would have no contractual effect and could differ from the version that does.
